Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Naval Architect within a globally recognised expert in Marine life cycle engineering services.

Working within the Engineering business in Aberdeen the role focuses on Marine warranty, analysis and consultancy work including moorings, drill risers, semi submersible units and mooring integrity.

Reporting into the Engineering Director, the successful candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant naval architecture or structural discipline.

The key responsibilities of the role will include;

• Performing warranty surveys on transportations and installations
• Inspecting and analysing detailed reports
• Performing riser, mooring and seafastening analysis software
• Assisting audits, surveys and incident investigations
• Verifying and managing offshore installation projects
• Assisting in supervising graduates.

To be considered for this unique opportunity the candidate will have;

• A degree in naval architecture
• Detailed knowledge of engineering principles
• Analysis and Marine warranty experience.
• Ability to deliver operational projects on time and on budget using standard project management methodologies
