Scottish Apprenticeship Week starts on Monday and it is a great opportunity to start thinking about how you can help get young people on to the career ladder of their dreams.
If you are not sure how a company goes about taking on an apprentice or need more information on funding opportunities, then don’t miss this event hosted by Tullos Training.
The Aberdeen-based employer-led training provider was founded in 1968 and remains at the forefront of engineering training in north-east Scotland.
It operates from a fully equipped training centre in the West Tullos district of Aberdeen and works closely with clients to ensure the training fits the specific industry needs.
On Tuesday, March 1, it will be holding an employer information day for those looking to find out more about its modern apprenticeship programmes and bespoke courses.
You will have the opportunity to speak to current apprentices about their experiences and get guidance and funding advice. Those who deliver the training will also be on hand to answer any questions and you can get a tour of the centre and all its facilities.
The event runs from 11am to 7pm at Craigshaw Drive, West Tullos, Aberdeen and lunch and refreshments will be available.
