Macduff Shipyards Ltd are a successful local company who are
currently seeking a Stores Manager with previous experience in
a similar position.
Job Description
This position involves procuring materials, progressing
outstanding orders, managing the goods receiving process,
participating in stock control, management, evaluation, and
providing departmental support. The successful candidate
will also supervise, control and co-ordinate the work of stores
personnel, foster a motivated and committed team spirit, and
ensure a high standard of performance throughout stores and

Educated to a good standard relevant to position. Marine
Experience essential. Experience of working in a stores
environment and purchasing position is essential. Strong verbal
and written communication skills. Experience of computerised
stock control systems. Fully literate in Microsoft Office
particularly Word & Excel. You must be organised, proactive, reliable, flexible, motivated and a strong leader. As well as a competitive salary (dependent on qualifications and relevant experience) you will benefit from excellent working conditions and a contributory personal pension.
