Job Purpose

To contribute to output efficiencies whilst maintaining product quality in a safe working environment through technical guidance, using planning and team work.

Qualifications Required

·Good level of education (essential)

·First Aid qualification (preferred)

·Previous experience in similar industry (preferred)

·Health & Safety experience (preferred)

·Some previous experience in a supervisory role (preferred)

·Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and branch regulations

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

·Full understanding of branch Risk Assessments

·Good communication skills

·Ability to work to deadlines maintaining quality of end product

·Ability to work as part of a team to achieve required results

·Ability to work from detailed technical drawings

Key Results Areas

·Liaise with Operations Site Manager to ensure Production staff are actively employed in appropriate tasks to ensure maximum output

·Plan and organise customer orders to ensure maximum and efficient use of Machinery

·Act as ‘stand in’ Side loader driver / Operative /as required to maintain output requirements

·Monitor Production machinery for service & repair requirements

·Assist in control of Truss plant and site security, as a key holder, to prevent company losses

·Act as Technical advisor regarding all Production processes as and when required

·Stand in for the Operations Site Manager during holidays and absence

·Any other tasks as directed by the Operations Site Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the site and to achieve maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction

·Assist with the company stock takes when required

·Responsible for the induction on new production staff
