Senior Project Engineer
The Oil and Gas Authority’s (OGA’s) role is to regulate, influence and promote the UK oil and gas industry in order to achieve our statutory principal objective of maximising the economic recovery of the UK’s oil and gas resources. Established in April 2015 as an executive agency of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, on 1 October 2016 the OGA was incorporated as a Government Company, with the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy the sole shareholder. The OGA is largely funded by an industry levy introduced on 1 October 2015.
Senior Project Engineer (Ref. OGA020)
£86,247 per annum plus £5,000 allowance and benefits
The Senior Project Engineer is accountable for all aspects of internal and external project management and optimisation processes, as well as playing a pivotal role interfacing with UKCS projects to develop and build on lessons learned to drive effective and predictable project outcomes. The successful candidate will implement Project Management Stewardship Expectations across UKCS portfolio and ensure projects are optimised. Collaboration and interface with professional organisations to assimilate and enhance best practice across UKCS will be a key part of the role
The role is a permanent appointment based in Aberdeen.
