My client is a market leading valve manufacturer. Headquartered in Europe with an annual turnover in excess of 1 billion euros they are unrivaled in their reputation and status in the market. They offer a wide range of engineering solutions and across the UK and have a specialist process control and flow division to offer value added service to key customers. Due to continued growth and restructure they now look to add a business development manager to the existing team.
As business development manager you will be responsible for managing and developing all existing accounts on patch. This role is predominantly looking after direct end user and OEM accounts as well dealing with EPC houses. You will be focusing on offering a technical solution, value added service to all process related customers. Other industries include water, food, pharmaceutical, power however the majority of business is withn the oil & gas market. A key part of this position will be to work with and manage the existing internal sales and technical team in Aberdeen. This role is critical in the development of the customer base across the Aberdeen.
The successful business development manager will ideally have valve, flow control sales experience. If you are from an external sales background you will have a track record in developing growth within the valves industry. Candidates from an internal sales or applications/projects expertise with a strong mechanical bias will also be strongly considered. The business development manager will be based on in Aberdeen.
