Dealership Finance Manager - Glasgow - £35k - £40k + Benefits

CFS is a standalone fleet management business with locations throughout the UK, currently looking after varied mixed fleets with over 11,500 assets. CFS offers its customers tailor made Fleet Management solutions from design, build, supply and maintenance through to end of life processes. CFS is part of the Cartwright Group Limited based in Altrincham Cheshire, a well-established coachbuilder/vehicle manufacturer supplier to International and UK markets.

As part of the CFS continued expansion strategy an exciting new opportunity for a Finance Manager with dealership experience has arisen for a new venture based in Glasgow.

Reporting through to the CFS accounts manager, and the dealership principle. In the role you will have overall responsibility for the timely and accurate production of management accounts and all financial transactions at the dealership.

Responsibilities:

- To consolidate budget and forecast/business plan information for the business to perform key reconciliation tasks
- Sales and Purchase ledger reconciliation for the dealership in conjunction with head office finance.
- Transactional cash management between the dealership and the manufacturer
- Assist with the management of vehicle and parts stocking levels
- Assist with opportunity stock purchases
- Assist with year-end processes and statutory accounts preparation
- Continuous improvement within the budgeting process
- P&L, balance sheet and forecasting as required
- Consolidate annual budget, including long term cash flow planning
- Perform key balance sheet reconciliation tasks and central journal postings
- Manage timetable for Financial Controllers' input to budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting requirements
- Work in collaboration with the Head office financial team to support the development staff within the dealership.
- Identify trends and areas for improvement through statistical analysis.
- Provide ad-hoc management reports
- Liaising with auditors as required
- Undertake other projects as required.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a dealership environment
- Developed understanding of the transactional cash management between the dealership and the manufacturer
- Experienced in the use of Kerridge KCD management systems
- Enthusiastic and motivated
- Degree in relevant subject
- Private sector experience
- Process control & leadership.
