The Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) is a unique secondary education programme that actively engages young people in their local community, whilst raising awareness about philanthropy. Each participating school, each year is responsible for directing a £3000 YPI grant to a local charity through a programme of team work, research and competition. YPI Scotland is all about creativity and passion, leaving the four walls of the classroom behind, and supporting the social issues young people care most about.
Working with over 230 secondary schools, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced programme coordinator, excited by working within the secondary education space, to play a vital role in the operational delivery and coordination of YPI Scotland. The role requires excellent organisational capabilities, a strength in building strong working relationships with many different stakeholders, and a well-developed communication skillset. The ability to react proactively to ensure delivery of key milestones and a willingness to travel throughout Scotland are essential.
