£18,714 per annum (rising to £19,699 after 12 months service subject to satisfactory performance)

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Landscape Technician Level 1 within the Estates Services team based in Aberdeen which is a key section of the Property Services division. This division is responsible for delivering an efficient estate maintenance and property repair service throughout the UK.

The role of Landscape Technician Level 1 will include:

  • Providing day to day support in the delivery of estate services contracts, specifically undertaking grounds maintenance duties as required
  • Operating specialised machinery and the safe use of chemicals and hazardous substances
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition  and all works are carried out in accordance with Health & Safety regulations
  • Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations in accordance with contract specifications and escalate complaints as appropriate

Skills and experiences:

  • Experience of working in a similar role with practical experience of operating machinery
  • Hold a pesticide application certificate PA1 – PA6 or equivalent
  • An enthusiastic, motivated team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Travel will be a requirement of the role; therefore a full, current driving licence is essential
