Network Architect

The Network Architect role is to join a team of Infrastructure Architects who are responsible for global infrastructure design, standards and governance. The successful candidate should have a broad technical knowledge and be able to produce designs as well as peer review in depth technical solutions.

You will have a strong background in Network Engineering, Architecture and be comfortable translating business requirements into infrastructure solution design documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Ownership of infrastructure solutions, turning requirements into detailed designs through requirements analysis
  • Own all functional and non-functional aspects for all designs
  • Detailed solution analysis and options presentation in conjunction with other members of the architecture team
  • Ensure designs and technical architecture changes are approved via the Infrastructure Design Authority
  • Evaluation of software, solutions and toolsets
  • Adopt industry best practices and methodologies in the proposed solutions
  • Development of the right and appropriate documentation at both business and technical level
  • Identifying, recommending and delivering opportunities for improvement to enhance quality, efficiency and effectiveness of deliverables
  • Stakeholder management

Required Technical Skills

Candidates should be able to demonstrate previously worked on large-scale integration projects with a focus on the below technical areas.

  • Qualified to CCIE or CCAr level
  • Cisco ACI
  • ISE
  • WAN Optimization
  • Data Centre Network Design
  • VPN Technologies
  • Cisco Nexus
  • Load Balancers
  • Network Security
  • Network Segmentation
  • Enterprise Wireless
  • SD-LAN \ SD-WAN
  • Creation of high level and low level solution designs
  • Experience ofsome frameworks, e.g.: TOGAF / CISSP / Agile / SCRUM / Zachman / ITIL
