An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Administrator / Analyst to support a 6 month project for a global outsourcing company based in Edinburgh West. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) for 6 months.

Duties and responsibilities of the Data Administrator / Analyst role will include:

  • Providing timely and accurate reporting on the project to the client
  • Producing clear graphical representations and data visualisations
  • Presenting reporting data when required during client meetings
  • Liaising with internal and external clients to fully understand data content
  • Providing proactive feedback to management team internally and at client level, detailing what the data analysis has shown, plus any suggestions and recommendations as appropriate to the task

Key skills, experience & personal attributes of the ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar Data Admin / Analyst role (essential)
  • Excellent IT skills - Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools - intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and the use of databases (e.g. MS Access)
  • An understanding of data protection issues
  • Experience of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
  • Excellent numerical and analytic skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • High level of organisation
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident and approachable
