A first for Aberdeen designer

Designer Jenna Milne has become the first and only person in Scotland to graduate with a degree in Kitchen Design from the New University of Buckingham.
Jenna, who is from Blackburn, already has a degree in Architectural Technology. The 26-year-old gained a distinction after studying for three years where she was tutored by the brightest and best in the kitchen and interior design industries.
The successful graduate has worked for Denmore Kitchens and Bathrooms for the last seven years, including part-time whilst studying for her first degree.
Based in the Bridge of Don, Denmore Kitchens and Bathrooms has been in its location for 27 years. Creative director Beverley Smith said: “Our company is very much design-led, and Jenna has shown skill and flair in the projects she has been involved with.
“At the moment, we are awaiting the results of a Young Designer Award in which Jenna is a finalist.
“It is a privilege for us to encourage young talent within our industry and to emphasise our professionalism.”
