Gold standard at Robertson Group
Nine employees at The Robertson Group have been honoured for their long service at the company’s annual awards.
Bill Robertson, founder and chairman of The Robertson Group, officially thanked the staff for their 25 years of service.
Mr Robertson said: “I always enjoy these evenings because it allows me to thank people personally for their commitment to the business.
“None of our success would be possible without their hard work.”
Mr Robertson welcomed 26 members of staff, partners and directors to a celebration dinner.
It was held at the Walled Garden at Gordon Castle in Fochabers.
Following the dinner the nine long-serving staff were presented with gold watches.
The Elgin-based business is now the largest privately owned infrastructure group in Scotland.
Amongst those publicly recognised for their service to the business were: Colin Campbell, Allan Thom, Colin McKinnon, Robbie McCulloch, Sandra Scott, Colin Souter, Willie Laing, Alan Gillespie, Steven Watson, Steven Anderson and Raymond Conner.
Mr Robertson said: “The staff members we are celebrating have been with Robertson for half the life of the business.”
The group now expands as far south as Yorkshire and the East Midlands, working in infrastructure, support services.
They employ over 1,800 staff and are committed to their Young People Strategy and Community Benefits programmes.
