Workshop at the cutting edge
Published: 08 Jan 2016
Ever fancied brushing shoulders with some of the barbering industry’s leading professionals? Now is your chance.
For the first time, the Great British Barber Bash team will be gracing Aberdeen to showcase two of the best established barbers in the UK.
The event, which is taking place at Aberdeen-based salon, Linton & Mac will feature the UK’s finest barbering talent.
Brothers Alan and Reece Beak, who own their own shop, Ruger Barber, in Manchester, will be visiting the Granite City to lead a modern barbering workshop, giving those individuals attending a first look into 2016’s top trends and a first-class hand-on experience.
The barbering event has been organised to raise awareness of the traditional craft and introducing new barbering trends and techniques, whilst inspiring others in the barbering industry in the north-east.
Alan and Reece now teach barbering and push the limits within the industry with the styles of cuts they create, catering for both hair and beard cuts.
As the beard trend continues, individuals have the opportunity to get involved in the event and find out how to style their beards, what the top beard trends are, and what products they should be using on their facial hair.
The event will take place on Sunday at Linton & Mac in Netherkirkgate. Tickets are priced at £65 per person to spectate and £140 per person to participate in a full day of working hands-on alongside these top professionals. Lunch and refreshments are included in both ticket prices. Visit www.greatbritishbarbersbash.co.uk/workshops for more information.
