With a membership that grows in excess of 40,000 tonnes of Malting Barley in Ross-shire, Inverness-shire, Morayshire and Sutherland, the Members of Highland Grain are professional malting barley producers as well as professional farmers.
Highland Grain is associated with several of the premier global brands, alongside other, more niche, distillers. Members of Highland Grain have been regular prize winners in national malting barley competitions run by one of its associated distilling customers.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day running and growth of the business, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. Candidates should be able to demonstrate competence across a range of business skills and knowledge acquired through both education and experience, in addition to the desire to challenge themselves and grasp exciting market opportunities.
