World Horse Welfare, the leading international horse charity, is looking to recruit a Maintenance Assistant to carry out maintenance on general buildings, grassland and field margins.
Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor you will assist with the effective and efficient maintenance of the farms general buildings, grassland and field margins.
Ideally you will have experience in all areas of general maintenance including fencing, fertilising, cultivations and tractor driving; however training is available where required. The ability to tow a horse box and experience of travelling horses would be advantageous as would experience in domestic repairs such as decorating, plumbing and electrics. You will be highly organised with the ability to work on your own initiative and possess a flexible approach to work.
World Horse Welfare is an international charity that improves the lives of horses in the UK and around the world through education, campaigning and hands-on care. Belwade Farm is located in Aboyne, consists of a team of 12 staff and has the capacity to care for up to 65 equines.
