Residential Child Care Worker / Permanent / Full time / £17,500 - £22,500
Avenue Recruitment are elated to be working with one of our clients, who operate small therapeutic residential homes throughout Scotland for young people who need a variety of support. Our Client also educate young people who cannot sustain a mainstream educational placement. In this they employ a 24-hour approach to the curriculum, providing continual support and guidance for their young people.

Applicants should be committed individuals with the ability to provide an inclusive, inspiring, living environment for our young people. The position will involve working with small groups of young people aged 8-18, experiencing a variety of complex needs/parenting experiences. Candidates must have the experience or transferable skills for this role as well as an understanding of working with complex needs. Ideally candidates would have experience of Residential Care and/or Social Work. Relevant qualifications are not essential to start, however there is a requirement set by the SSSC to gain the relevant qualification/s within 3 years of registering.
Ideally candidates will have a full UK driving licence, however not essential.
We can also accommodate Bank Shift workers to fit in with commitments.
We are looking to recruit a number of Residential Care workers for houses in East
Monday to Sunday
Mornings - 07:30am - 15:30pm
Backshift - 14:00pm - 22:00pm
Twilight - 15:00pm - Midnight
Monday - Thursday: 21:00pm - 08:00am
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 20:00pm - 08:00am
