PROJECT ENGINEER - MECHANICAL

Are you an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer with a proven offshore knowledge and experience?

And are you ready for the challenge to take our Rig Projects department to the next level?

Then you might be the person we are looking for!

You will join a highly skilled and committed department involved in different projects such as rig refurbishments and upgrades worldwide. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and will work from our premises at Invergordon, Scotland.

Responsibilities and tasks:
You have strong leadership skills and can
• Mechanical design, production preparation and modification of existing systems
• Preparation/follow-up on job packages
• End-to-end project management and execution for large and small projects
• Participate in all phases from design to production
• Tender preparation and liaise with clients
• Mentor and guide junior engineer(s)
Professional qualifications and attributes:
You are a Mechanical Engineer (B.Sc. ME) or hold a Bachelor’s degree in Technology Management and Marine Engineering or have proven experience in a similar role.

Further skills:
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/SolidWorks
• Familiar with assisting technicians to give practical advice
• Knowledge of calculating/installing piping, structural and mechanical systems
• Experience in economy control and tendering
• Familiar with class rules (ABS, DNV, Loyds etc.)
• Proven management skills and experience
• Offshore knowledge • Familiar with all class and industry rules for MOU’s
• Experience in economy and tendering
