Senior Business Analyst Permanent opportunity based in Edinburgh
Your new company
Your new company is an established public sector organisation based in the heart of Edinburgh. You will be the IT team responsible for developing and maintaining the IT solutions which supports over 1300 users. This high profile organisation has a broad range of projects from SharePoint Online implementation to website rewrites.
Your new role
In your new role you will have a range of responsibilities from requirements gathering, creating road-maps, support and development of critical business applications. You will work closely with the technical teams, users, marketing and other teams across the organisation so successfully implement change and delivery projects.
In this role you will be responsible for the full project life-cycle while working with a service or product owner, through to testing and full implementation, then ongoing support and analysis. You will also have the opportunity while working with the business to identify new strategies in line with the changing digital landscape.
You will report the BA and Change Manager, while working in an existing team of 7 BA's. As senior business analyst it will be your responsibility to work with the junior BA's to mentor and support them in their own development.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this opportunity you will have experience of business analysis and change management, with requirements gathering, organisational design and process improvements. You will have experience of the development life-cycle and information systems. You will be working in an Agile environment, as such you to be successful you will have experience in a similar environment.
You will have experience of working successfully within a variety of team across a business, while mentoring / coaching more junior business analysts. In addition to this any experience of testing would be highly advantageous.

In return you will be awarded a competitive salary of between £32,709 to £37,400 depending on your experience. Plus an excellent benefits package, employer pension contribution of 20.9% and generous holiday allowance of 41.5 days (this includes public holidays).
