Engineering Manager - FM Hard Services
Location: Central Belt

M&E Manager required to assist in driving operational excellence across the engineering team and FM building services portfolio

Main Duties:

*Act as point of contact in terms of subject matter expertise in all technical aspects and Hard FM services arenas for critical and building environments.
*Support critical systems management and maintenance, including HV / LV Power supplies, Cooling systems, Fire Alarms, BMS, Standby Power Systems and LV Switch Gear which supports the critical environment.
*Manage critical engineering facilities with no loss and impact to customer facing services within an office and critical environment.
*Able to react in an ever changing business environment.
*Liaising with the FM team, this individual shall be confident and articulate and can interface at all levels, both internally and externally of the business.
*Manage all PPMs for the engineers and also supervise all sub-contractors to ensure there is no disrupt to the clients services.
*Oversee critical management and maintenance
*You will be required to support the Facilities and Maintenance team in delivering reactive and planned repairs for the facilities and equipment.
*Ensure all staff are able to successfully deliver by ensuring strong leadership and development programmes that are aligned to meet contract requirements SLA's.
*Develop good working relationships with all senior managers.
*Drive Operational excellence across the portfolio and meet / exceed expectations on KPI / SLA performance


Essential Requirements:

*Proven experience in a FM building services management role
*Diploma certificate or equivalent technical qualifications
*Previous supervisory experience
*BIFM/CIBSE qualified (preferred)
*Knowledge of BMS, PCS systems and their implementation as well as testing of their equipment.
*Thorough understanding of M&E and HVAC systems
*Good leadership skills
*Strong and effective communication skills.
*Excellent analytical skills to operational issues
*Good knowledge / experience of Microsoft office packages
*Have an understanding of health and safety
*Commercial awareness
*Ability to work on own initiative
*Planning and Organisational skills
*Flexible and willing approach to work
*Strong customer focus skills and attitude
*Working to tight deadlines
*Experience working within a large commercial environment is essential
