Large, successful Accountancy firm in Glasgow city centre seek to hire an additional TWO Payroll Administrators for their rapidly expanding team.

£21000 - £25000 PLUS ......performance based bonus scheme (can average up to £2000-2500 per annum),gym membership, well being scheme, plus full study support for employees wishing to progress to CIPP degree level. (company covers the full cost).

HOURS

Mon - Fri 36.5 hours per week.

Primarily responsible for the administration and processing client payrolls within the national payroll team, to provide a first-class payroll bureau service. The role also involves providing first class customer service to the large volume of clients you will be dealing with daily/weekly and monthly.

Job Role

* Responsible for the day to day administration of multiple client payrolls.

* Use BOND PAYRITE payroll software.

* To process all types of manual payroll calculations.

* To use existing knowledge of PAYE/NIC, including K codes when running client payrolls.

* To use existing knowledge of SMP, SPP, SAP and SSP when running client payrolls.

* To use existing knowledge of pension scheme (defined benefit, sacrifice and defined contribution) when providing administration for various payrolls.

* To develop and keep up to date with new payroll legislation and compliance.

* To operate RTI procedures and statutory requirements

* To carry out payroll reconciliations and analysis.

* To administer and process end of year return forms - RTI declarations, P60.

* To liaise with HMRC and assist with enquiries.

* To administer modified/foreign/expat payrolls

* To use own initiative to resolve issues, by providing a range of solutions and seeking advice where necessary.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* Experience of sizable/volume payroll, either multiple departments in-house OR used to large volume, upwards of 100 staff on payroll.

* Significant payroll experience, ideally within a professional services environment.

* Accountancy Bureau payroll experience is preferable.

* Minimum of 5 Standard Grades (or equivalent) grades A-C

* Demonstrates up to date knowledge of current payroll legislation

* Demonstrates knowledge and confidence in using PAYRITE software.

* Organises workload and demonstrates ability of prioritising own tasks.

* Demonstrates attention to details and a high concern for accuracy.
