We are a leading catering butcher in Fife. We are suppliers to many of the most prestigious hotels and restaurants in Fife, Dundee, Perth, Edinburgh, Lothians and the Borders, and are looking to recruit a skilled butcher on a permanent basis.

Skills Required:

  • Confident
  • Time served (min 5 years)
  • Fully skilled
  • Competent knife skills
  • Clean boning with experience of portion control
  • Cutting
  • Manufacturing experience of sausage production would be desirable but not essential.
  • Cooked Meat Experience
  • HAACP awareness.
  • Health & Hygiene or Food Safety Certificate (min level 1) as further training will be given.

Core Responsibilities

Duties to include preparing and cutting meat including beef, lamb, pork, venison, poultry and game to customer’s exact specification in a factory environment to the highest standards. Fulfilling daily orders, ensuring a safe and clean workspace at all times. Assisting with daily clean up in all areas of the factory.

Hours of Work

You will be working Monday - Friday 6.30am to 4.00pm and Saturday morning 6.30am to 1.30pm with one day off during the week. 39.5 hours per week plus attendance bonus for successful applicant. Work based pension scheme and very competitive wages.

Own transport is essential due to our location.

A block test of skills maybe required at our site on day of interview or at 2nd Interview call back.
