Hays is currently exclusively partnered with an organisation in West Lothian in recruiting an Accounts Assistant into their friendly finance team.
Your new role
Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, you will be assisting with the smooth day to day running of the accounts department and preparation. This will include full ownership of processing invoices, coding and journal entries, bank and credit card reconciliation, end to end payroll, including pensions. In additional to this you will get involved in the statutory accounts up to trial balance, accruals and prepayments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a diverse role, on a full time basis.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous finance experience and will be confident in both accounts payable and will have experience or show a willingness to learn payroll. You will have excellent attention to detail and will be able to communicate with both internal colleagues and external clients. The salary for this particular opportunity is offering between £23,000 - £28,000.
