An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Commercial Bid Writer to join our FM and Estates team in Glasgow.
Within this role, you will cover our network of FM branches across the UK; being client and project focussed role to deliver new business to the FM team.
Working within the Bid team focussing on both the commercial and quality elements of our bids, you will help develop and expand our Facilities Management business through the preparation and submission of excellent PQQ’s and completion of ITT’s to both the Public and Private sector.
You will prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents and will present a prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. You will also be expected to keep abreast of industry developments and respond in a pro-active manner.
In order to be successful in this role, you will possess a college Diploma level in a relevant CM/Construction related subject area and will have previous experience of the FM sector along with working in a deadline driven environment.
It is also essential that you are experienced at pricing, managing and writing bespoke responses to PQQs and tenders in a company providing services to the public / private sector.
Commercially astute, you will be able to review results analytically and will have a track record of initiating and achieving improvements. You should be IT literate and highly competent with a variety of software packages including advanced Microsoft Excel.
The ability to obtain enhanced PVG clearance through Disclosure Scotland is essential.
