Shift Operations Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shift Operations Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced Operations Team at our Edinburgh site. This is a key role within the business, where you will be responsible for some of the key lines within the factory and all KPIs (waste, TOS (i.e.overpack/giveaway), efficiency, machine uptime, planned tonnage) and labour associated with this, in order to deliver against the Edinburgh Site Improvement strategy.
This role will have responsibility for delivery of the production plan over a 12-month period, supporting and driving improvement plans, CI initiatives, budget and resources to support the overall Edinburgh site improvement strategy and in particular performance of lines within area.
The successful candidate will be ideally qualified with a level of Lean Six Sigma, however a sound working knowledge of continuous improvement tools will also be considered. Experience of working within a manufacturing and unionised environment would be extremely beneficial. You will be able to work with and be able deal with our safety systems to look after the safety and wellbeing of our employees. You will be self-motivated, have the ability to work as part of a team effectively, whilst working in partnership with the other functions on site, in particular Engineering. The ability to support, motivate, develop and coach your teams is also key.
