The Beer Kitchen in Edinburgh is currently on the lookout for a General Manager to come and lead their team.As General Manager you will be responsible for all the day to day operations of the Beer Kitchen. You will be expected to run the venue as if it were your own business, ensuring you train and coach your team both front of house and back of house to consistently exceed customer expectations and work as one team to drive the business forward.The ideal candidate will have previously worked at GM level in a restaurant & bar environment.A passion for food and craft beer will be an advantage but the main responsibilities of this role include:·Customer service·Staff & Management training·Rota Wage control·Food & Bar GP control·Recruitment
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of driving sales growth and consistently hitting sales targets as well as ensuring costs are effectively controlled and all compliance and legislative responsibilities are met and venue standards are of the highest level.
As well as that, you’ll need to grow and develop your team of food and drink experts, whilst delivering faultless customer service and ensure the guest journey is exceptional. A good understanding of liquor stock management, yield, margins and gross profit is required.
This is a full time role and salary is dependent on experience.
