Cut your marketing teeth, now looking for a bigger bite of the pie? Have an abundance of ideas, but nowhere to use them?

If you've established your marketing career, perhaps been an Asssistant / Junior Exec for a couple of years, worked for a corporate organisation, and are now ready to play a bigger part in a smaller organisation's marketing strategy, then please read on!

Family owned, family run, my client is a leading midlands retailer of quality, used vans and trucks, with branches in Derby, Leicester, Nottingham and Mansfield, and now seeks a driven (excuse the pun!) capable and forward thinking Marketing Executive to join its team.

Based in its Derby offices, you'll be a key member of a small marketing team, with a big remit. 1 of a team of just 3 (there's an assistant, and a senior exec, though they're on maternity) you'll have a genuine opportunity to shape the way the business is marketed, the channels it adopts and the message it conveys.

Your ideas will be welcomed, expected even, in fact it will be down to you to make suggestions as to how and where products, services and offers are marketed, after all, that's what you're being paid for!

Reporting to the Commercial Director, your main duties will include:

- Creating internal & external marketing strategies
- Developing digital content
- Preparing marketing material for events & supporting at exhibitions (these tend to be at weekends, so will you need to be flexible)

You'll effectively use and update CRM to increase customer engagement, retention and satisfaction, building relationships to support the sales team and building awareness of products to maximise the business potential to its customers.

have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and previous dealership experience would be an advantage. You need to be honest, enthusiastic, hardworking, self-motivated and respond well to challenging situations.

A capable, confident Marketing Assistant / Executive, quirte naturally you'll have proven experience, able to evidence your previous successes and achievements.

A Marketing or related degree is preferable, as to would a CIM qualification. Beyond this, you'll have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, will be honest, enthusiastic, hardworking, self-motivated and respond well to challenging situations.

Technically, you'll have experience of Photoshop, and of ERP, CRM and CMS systems / software.

Oh, and if you happen to have worked within the motor trade/motor dealerships, even better!!!

And in return? You'll be working for a family business, where, you have a voice, are valued and ultimately will be directly contributing to its success, and recognised for your efforts. My client invests heavily in training and development and so will support you with any appropriate training etc.
