£25,398 - £28,119 per annum plus 8% employer pension contribution. 35hrs per week (9 months Maternity Cover - may be extended to 12 months). Location: Fort William (preferred) or Inverness

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated individual to work within The Local Energy Scotland/CARES team.

We are looking for a CARES Development Officer with the drive and capability to advise Communities and Rural Businesses in the development of local energy projects and securing benefit from local and community renewable energy schemes whether commercial or community-owned.

You will be highly organised with excellent communication skills and experienced in delivering quality customer service and advice. You will be required to travel, and must be able to work well within the team, as well as work effectively on your own, sometimes out with normal working hours.
