Our Client who operate in several industries are expanding and have an opportunity for Time-served CNC Millers to operate and program CNC Mills in accordance with Work Instructions.The role is to produce quality products in a safe and controlled manner, meeting all quality specifications whilst satisfying productivity requirements, and in compliance with engineering drawings and associated specifications. Experience with medium/large components is beneficial.
? Operation of a variety of CNC machine tools. (Hurco advantageous)
? Read and interpret engineering drawings.
? Create, Read and Interpret CNC programs.
? Download, edit (if required), and archive CNC programs.
? Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate tooling.
? Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate cutting conditions.
? Inspection and recording of all relevant dimensions.
? Completion of all documentation and record labour bookings.
? Demonstrate engagement with other Team Members.
? Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment
? Promote a culture of continuous improvement, and lead by example to ensure company goals are achieved and exceeded
Qualifications / Experience·Engineering Apprenticeship and Qualification ·Demonstrable experience of operation of CNC machinery ·Demonstrable experience of understanding CNC programs, and edit capability.
