Change Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a leading organisation within the care sector in order to recruit a Regional Finance Manager. The geographical remit for this role will cover the entirety of Scotland and also Northern England. Therefore this role suits an Accounting professional who has experience of management on a regional level and is prepared to travel extensively.

Key Accountabilities

: Manage the preparation of business information and the provision of advice for key customers and stakeholders to enable effective monitoring and to support decision making, business planning and effective financial management.

: Implement and maintain the accurate and complete financial records, control systems and policies to ensure regulatory and statutory requirements are met including the effective management of supporting processes.

: Assist in the management of the review, development, implementation and monitoring of systems to ensure a robust control environment is maintained to safeguard the organisations interests.

: Develop and maintain effective relationships with all key stakeholders, ensuring issues and shortfalls are addressed and remedied in order to ensure the delivery of high standards of customer care.

: Manage the recruitment, performance management and development of quality staff to ensure strong teams are built who can deliver in line with business needs and individual accountabilities.

: Contribute, as appropriate, to special projects and change programmes in support of the organisations objectives.

The Successful candidate will ideally have the following skillset/experience

: Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification
:ACCA, ACA or CIMA professional qualification
: Recent experience of undertaking a role with a regional remit
: Robust experience of accounting regulations, legislation and current practice
: Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
: Robust experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
: Proven experience of using financial systems
: Proven experience of managing people
: Proven experience of successful delivery of projects
: Happy to travel throughout region
