Reporting directly to the Regional Controller, this full time role of Accounts Assistant will predominantly cover our ECAF (Europe, Caspian and Sub-Sahara Africa) geographical region.
The main focus of this role is to provide efficient and effective Accountancy and Finance support including but not limited to the following: matching, coding and processing of purchase invoices and credit notes, dealing with supplier queries and statements, review of purchase ledger accounts, cash flow reporting and the preparation of monthly reconciliations for requested balance sheet items.
The role will also provide support to the Accountant and Regional Controller with month end reporting cycles.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of hands on experience of working in a similar role and should have excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Candidates should be adaptable and thrive under pressure and be competent to work both independently and within a busy team. Experience of working in the Oil and Gas industry would be advantageous.
