Job Title: Payroll Administrator (Salaries Team)

Location: Perth

Salary: £21,161 to £27,947 depending on skills and experience

Fixed Term Contract for 12 months (Full Time)

Our Role

As a Payroll Administrator, you will work within the Salaries team which forms part of the Payroll Department. You will be responsible for the accurate processing of a high volume of transactions on a monthly basis varying in complexity and will be committed with providing our customers with an excellent service.

Your role will involve the timely and accurate payroll processing of new starters, leavers, changes and administration of company benefits and schemes, in addition to performing manual payroll calculations. You will be expected to deal with customers of all levels within the business.

You will be required to support on the other administration tasks relating to employee record maintenance as required by the wider payroll team.

We are committed to continuously improving the way we work and as part of your role you'll be expected to actively seek out opportunities to work more efficiently and to improve the service provision of the team as well as contributing to the production of robust procedures.

Your Skills and Experience

You will be organised and methodical with the ability to work to tight monthly deadlines. You will have experience of working with numbers and across multiple computer systems. At least one year's recent payroll experience is essential for this role. You should have previous experience of using a Payroll and Expenses system and Oracle payroll experience would be advantageous. You should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and have a good working knowledge of Office 365. Additionally, you should have a proven track record of providing great customer service.
