Harvey Nash clients are currently looking for a number of skilled Front End Developer to join a rapidly expanding software technolgoy house who are heavily funded, with city centre office is a short walk from the train station in Edinburgh. With a very impressive period of high growth and have several vacancies in their agile software development teams. You will be working on a number of exciting projects that will have some interesting technical challenges. Candidates should be experienced at using HTML & CSS, coupled and strong JavaScript skills across ideally Angular or React.

The role:

You will be developing and maintaining the mobile and desktop websites and helping to shape the product in this rapidly growing company. On a daily basis you will be working with modern frameworks like Angular and React, and being exposed to JSON, REST APIs etc , working closely with the product and UX teams, testing across different devices and improving client-side performance issues. About you:

Candidates will understand and embrace Agile practices and be able to take the lead on high quality greenfield web applications. Strong skills in modern web frameworks like Angular, React etc coupled with JSON, REST APIs and be comfortable working with UX teams to help build web products.

You will be up to date with the latest technology trends, and well versed in HTML, CSS and JavaScript perhaps even have a portfolio or GitHub to demonstrate some of your work? Experience developing rich web applications and skilled in integrating with server side technologies whilst working in an Agile environment.

Although not essential any previous exposure to developing business-facing web apps and products, Using source control like SVN and GIT, automated testing tools and working with PHP or LAMP-stack environment would be highly beneficial.
