The Regulatory Assurance teams overarching responsibility is to reduce the risk of inaccurate reporting and misreporting to all stakeholders. Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks have an exciting new opportunity for a Project Manager within the Networks Regulatory Assurance to act as the principal assurance lead to Networks Powering Our Future Programme.
Responsibilities of this role will include assisting with the development and delivery of the project plan to establish the new Regulatory Assurance requirements. You'll support the Head of Regulatory Assurance and set priorities for the team and assign tasks which covers the key initiatives. In addition you'll be responsible for delivering a high quality service to the business areas and will be the initial point of contact for WAM project and Transformation Programme. You will also be responsible for reporting to the Project Review Board.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in applying for this vacancy you will be required to possess in-depth knowledge of Regulation, Legal and Licence conditions as well as relevant knowledge of Networks businesses and functions. You will have demonstrable experience of IT systems (e.g. PROMIS, SIMS, PLACAR, Maximo, Document Library etc.) and extensive risk, quality and compliance knowledge.
As an individual you will have an impressive track record on effective project management and experience of managing staff.
Stage 2 Auditor accreditation ISO 9001 would be desirable as would Prince Methodology or appropriate PM qualification.
Experience on writing reports and risk assessments would be advantageous.
