Our Networks business has a large portfolio of projects across the region, and we are looking for a Project Coordinator to join us on our journey. As Project Coordinator, you'll working closely with our Project Managers to assist in the successful delivery of a number of major projects across Scotland. You'll manage the preparation and compilation of key project documents, and will ensure all the project teams movements, calendars, meetings and necessary scheduling are carried out smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you'll interact with key stakeholders for each project, liaising on project details and attending meetings where required. In addition, you'll look after all associated engagement paperwork for the projects, such as invoices, POs, requisitions and external resource engagement requests.
Your Skills and Experience
To ensure you get the most from your role, we ask that you have excellent administration and organisational skills; this role is a busy one, and will allow you an opportunity to learn about our business, and interact with a wide range of stakeholders. You'll be highly literate with a keen eye for detail, and an ability to prioritise workload in demanding timescales. You should also have a proven ability to manage different stakeholders at once, sometimes with conflicting priorities, and be able to prioritise and work in the most effectively way.
At Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN), our skilled teams operate and maintain our electricity distribution and transmission networks, carrying electricity to over 3.7 million homes across the north of the Central Belt of Scotland and Central Southern England.
Transmission operates under licence as Scottish Hydro Electric (SHE) Transmission plc, responsible for the transmission of electricity in the north of Scotland. We own and maintain the 132kV, 275kV and 400kV electricity transmission network in our licence area. Our network comprises of underground cables, overhead wooden poles, steel towers and electricity substations, and it extends over a quarter of the UK land mass across some of its most challenging terrain.
