Job Title: Wayleave Registry Administrator

Location: Inverness

Salary: £16,833 - £22,228 depending on skills and experience

12-month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time Hours | 37 hours per week

Our Role

The Wayleave Registry are responsible for the administration of Distribution and Transmission Wayleaves, Telecoms and SGN consent documents. As Wayleave Registry Administrator, you will ensure all new Wayleave Agreements are entered correctly onto our internal systems of Merideo and SWRPS, scanning and indexing the agreements accordingly. It is important all Wayleave Agreements are entered into the system, accurately otherwise SSEN would have no record of permission for overhead lines etc. to cross the land which could ultimately result in SSEN having to bear the costs of removal.

You will work closely in a small team within the registry to conduct Wayleave Searches and make amendments to existing agreements. Depending on the value of agreements and payments you will be required to liaise directly with Accounts Payable to process. The role covers the SEPD area which comprises of 4 Regions in Central Southern England and the SHEPD/SHET areas comprising 3 Regions across Scotland, known collectively as SSEN.

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will be an effective communicator and be comfortable working with teams across the business as required. You will be experienced working in a customer facing role and be dedicated to achieving excellent results.

Due to the nature of the role it is important you are highly organised and detail orientated, previous experience working with Wayleave Agreements would be advantageous.
