Job Title: Treasury Admin Assistant

Location: Perth

Salary: Up to £20,000

12 Month Contract | Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available | 37 hours per week

Our Role

The Treasury team within SSE plc are responsible for the raising and management of debt in excess of £9.2bn, short term surplus cash management, interest rate risk management and foreign exchange risk management. Additionally, the Treasury function arranges and manages operational banking services to support the requirements of the SSE Group (including a number of JV's).

As Treasury Admin Assistant, you will provide support to the Treasury cash team who are responsible for the day to day Treasury Cash management process on behalf of the Group which includes calculating daily cash positions, cashflow forecasting, payments and payments systems, FX cash management, operational bank relationship management and management reporting.

Duties specific to Treasury Admin Assistant role will include preparation of payments, updating various Treasury reports and analysis spreadsheets, daily scanning, managing incoming and outgoing mail and other general admin duties.

Your Skills and Experience

Applicants should be self-motivated and enthusiastic. You should demonstrate the ability to deliver a high quality of work on a consistent basis and be able to work accurately when meeting tight deadlines. You should be highly numerate, a good team player, possess strong analytical skills, be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Microsoft Excel and be a confident and effective communicator.
