Job Title: Cash Allocation Team Manager

Location: Perth

Salary: £ 31,345- £41,396 depending on skills and experience

Permanent | Full Time Hours| 37 hours per week

The Role

As Manager of the Cash Allocation Team you will initially be expected to lead the set-up of the new team within Business Energy. You'll review the existing processes delivered by the Retail Income Team and you will be required to coordinate the training of the new Business Energy Cash Allocation Clerks.

You'll be accountable for the transformation of the business ensuring teams are coached through periods of change. As part of the SSE team you'll ensure compliance with company policy, regulatory requirements and legislation and be accountable for managing teams to deliver compliant Health & Safety performance.

With your commercial experience, you'll be responsible for acting on and representing decisions made by wider leadership teams. You'll be accountable for your own and team's performance, using processes and management techniques to deliver excellence. You'll create and maintain an excellent working environment for your team and build relationships with key stakeholders across the wider business. As Team manager, you'll have a collective responsibility to manage the controllable team costs and ensure SSE's high levels of customer service are met at all times.

Your Skills & Experience

As a leader, you will be a strong motivator and have ability to utilize available performance tools. You'll have knowledge of general office IT applications, strong numeracy skills and good knowledge of Customer Service around payments and cash advices. You'll have a strong overview of the cash allocation process and where it sits in the wider order to the Cash Process. You'll monitor attention to detail and accuracy across the team. You will have experience in the business Intelligent application to allow you to report on any arrears.
