Job Title: Corporate SHE Advisor
Location: Glasgow / Perth / Edinburgh
Salary: up to £40,000 depending on skills and experience + annual incentive + car/cash allowance
Fixed Term 12 months/Full Time Hours | 37 hours per week

As a key member of the Corporate Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Team you will provide proactive and pragmatic operational SHE advice and guidance to stakeholders throughout Corporate Business Support Services including Property Projects, Facilities Management and several back-office support areas.
Reporting to the Corporate SHE Manager, you'll assist in the continual SHE improvement across the business, including management system development, delivery of coaching and training, risk assessment, audits, incident investigations and support the delivery of SSE's Safety Family programme.
Your Skills and Experience
You'll have experience in a SHE support role and hold an entry level SHE qualification as a minimum (e.g. NEBOSH Certificate). You must have the drive, ability and enthusiasm to drive performance improvements and influence change across the business.
Excellent communication skills and a natural talent for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders will help you excel in this position. Experience in pre-construction CDM, property / facility management and project management will be highly advantageous.
Due to the level of mobility required in this role a full UK driving license is essential. This role will involve some UK overnight travel
