Senior IT Support Engineer
Eden Scott's client, based in Edinburgh, is a leading ICT Support and Services company. They provide specialist solutions to ensure the smooth running of outsourced IT departments, as well as working on project and consultancy work. This could range from network infrastructure design, build and maintenance to server solutions, security planning and cloud services. Due to continued success and client wins, they are looking to hire a Senior IT Support Engineer.
Within this role you will be expected to provide 2nd and 3rd line support to direct clients. You will also be providing remote, telephone and on-site support for networks and applications. You will be expected to communicate within your internal team, while keeping clients up-to-date with timescales and progress. You will ideally thrive under a pressure environment, handling tasks with confidence and assurance.
As the ideal candidate, you will have direct experience of working in a 3rd line support role. Additionally, you will have good technical experience of network infrastructure design and management.
You will also have experience of:
- Office 365 migrations
- Backup and recovery
- Windows Server
- Azure or cloud services
Additionally, you will be comfortable working in a small, close-knit team. You must also have a Full UK Driving license.
