Job Description

The Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP) have integrated the planning and delivery of all community health and social care services for children, adults and older people along with homelessness and criminal justice services. The finance section is intregal in making this happen. An opportunity has arisen for a candidate to join the Property and Transport Team within the finance section. The successful candidate will carry out a liaison role between the HSCP and other council departments and have a good knowledge of budget monitoring, and finance applications and systems, ensuring the service is charged accurately and arranging income and refunds to the HSCP. Monitoring legislative statutory compliance for building health and safety which includes asbestos and legionella. Monitoring service provision for service level agreements in terms of ground maintenance, refuse collection and recycling. They will be the department's carbon management champion, monitoring energy usage, statement billing and utility connections. They will also have a supporting role in terms of the capital budget monitoring for our new build programme.
