Head of Bakery
Join a successful large retailer as they undergo an exciting overhaul of their food offering. Now aiming at a more premium demographic within their restaurants they are looking for a Head of Bakery to join them to develop a modern, seasonal, country style menu.
You will work closely with the bakery teams around the country to tailor the menus to each site and their customer base to drive sales and inspire creativity and enthusiasm in the staff. You will ensure the teams are keeping to waste and production targets while offering a commercial bakery and patisserie menu. You will also be responsible for bakery supplier relationships maintaining already established connections and developing new ones whilst holding a great profit margin.
In order to be considered you must have extensive experience of working in a commercial sales orientated bakery background with excellent knowledge of scratch bakery products and must be creative and be prepared to be completely immersed in the patisserie and food industry. The business expects a lot from it's staff and the Head of Bakery must always be on the look out for new ingredients and have a passion about seasonal produce. Even if you're on holiday eating amazing food abroad, the right person would be thinking about how could they use it as inspiration for the restaurants at work.

Please note you must have commercial experience of at least 5 years in scratch bakery.
