Bartender (£7.83 per hour) Glasgow

About the Role

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Bartender to work with our client in some of Glasgow’s most iconic venues. We want to hear from candidates with excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic approach to customer service. This opportunity will be ideal for those looking for flexible hours and the chance to earn some extra cash to supplement an existing income.

About the Employer

Our client is a high-profile player on the local entertainment scene with a rich history and exciting programme of events organised throughout the year. Two Rivers Recruitment provide ongoing support to help provide additional Bartender staff to cover peak trading periods. We are therefore, keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience and Personal Bar Licence holders.

About the Person

To be successful as a Bartender with our client you will most likely have previous experience working in a Bar, Restaurant or Hotel environment. You will also most likely have an aptitude for dealing with different types of customers in a friendly, but efficient manner.

About the Job

Your primary responsibilities as Bartender will be acknowledging and welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, and taking drink orders. You will also be responsible for selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers. As you would expect with this type of role you will also be expected to check identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol, as well as adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.

At times it will be extremely busy and as Bartender, you will be required to serve customers quickly and accurately. At quieter times you will be expected to use your initiative and ensure the bar area is tidy, clean and organised.

Given the flexible nature of this role this opportunity will likely be suited to students or those looking to supplement existing income. However, we encourage interest from all walks of life, but the three most important factors are your reliability, personality, and that you have completed your 2 hour liquor licence training within the past six months.

The Reward

The hourly rate for the Bartender position will be £7.83. You will also have the opportunity gain valuable experience working behind the scenes in some of Glasgow’s most iconic leisure and hospitality venues.

So, are you the one we’re looking for? If the Bartender role sounds of interest and you think you have what it takes, then we want to hear from you. Please contact Chris Feeney on 07773 475518 or send your CV with brief cover note to
