Customer & Facilities Assistant, 20 hours per week, fixed term to 31 January 2019 salary pro rata to hours per week, 10% shift allowance
Customer and Community Service operate across 52 buildings within West Lothian. Many of these buildings are community centres where we support voluntary Management Committees to run programmes and events to support their local community.
We are seeking a motivated individual to become part of our team to undertake a wide range of duties relating to customer service and the day to day running and safe operation of buildings.
The post holder will deliver a range of services to customers and staff including: handling general enquiries, administering of room lets, setting up rooms and equipment in advance of community and council meetings and to ensure rooms and spaces are clean and ready for use.
The postholder will also ensure that designated building compliance, Health and Safety, Risk Management and Fire Safety Procedures are carried out in accordance with council guidelines
You will require basic level IT skills as part of the role involves using email, outlook calender, inputting data and accessing the internet.
You will be required to travel independently between buildings.
This is a part time post and you can be asked to work 5 days over 7 and anytime between 8am and 10pm.
