Job Title: C&I Engineer

Location: Glasgow/Perth/Ferrybridge

Salary: £36,900- £56,500 depending on skills and experience + benefits + car/cash allowance + annual bonus

Permanent | Full Time Hours

The Role

As a C&I Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing specialist C&I engineering technical expertise in order to manage the medium to long term integrity of high risk operational assets across our Thermal Generation, Hydro Generation and Wind Generation fleet as well as our Gas Storage assets.

Some of your other main accountabilities will include the development of relevant engineering and design standards, including high risk new build assets; undertaking engineering reviews across the fleet to ensure assets comply with engineering legislation and standards and providing specialist engineering support and advice to asset operators and project teams.

Your Skills & Experience

We are looking someone who is degree Qualified in a relevant discipline (Electrical / Electronics Engineering, or Automation / Control Engineering), a chartered engineer and a member of the Engineering Council or working towards accreditation.

You'll be experienced in the design, development and commissioning of control systems (PLC / DCS / SCADA) in the Power Generation industry along with a good working knowledge of Gas turbine control systems. You should also have a strong understanding of IEC61508 / IEC 61511 and experience in SIL assessment and design of high integrity safety systems
