Job Title: C&I Asset Engineer

Location: Aberdeen

Salary: Up to £56,500 depending on skills and experience + excellent benefits + annual bonus

Permanent Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available

The Role

Working in the asset engineering team, you'll be responsible for all control and instrumentation ensuring the plant runs safely, efficiently and effectively. You'll be assigned as the resident asset specialist for field instrumentation and control systems.

Some of your main responsibilities will include providing technical guidance to the station's Production teams, developing Asset Management Plans, safety audits and investigations, Contract Management and Specialist Technical Guidance.

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who is educated to a minimum of HND level in an engineering discipline. Qualifications in electrical or control system engineering will be viewed favourably.

Although industry experience in a similar role in power, process or a similar industry is preferred, candidates with limited industry experience are encouraged to apply. Development plans will be put in place to ensure on-job learning and career progression takes place.

Experience and an understanding of computerised maintenance management systems, Contract management and project management experience is desirable.
