Our client is a leading B2B Destination Management Company who specialise in providing a high end bespoke program for volume group business. Due to company expansion they are now looking for a Market Manager to focus on their German speaking markets.


- Responsibility for the management of the Customer Care function with respect principally but not exclusively to all German-speaking markets and continued mentoring of the German-speaking team
- Ensure that all group operations for the Company run smoothly, on a timely basis and to ensure that the Company’s profit margin targets are achieved on each file
- Direct responsibility for customer care handling of key specific accounts as directed by the UK Director of Customer Care or Managing Director
- Undertake to be the first point of escalation for Customer Care Executive for advice on day-to-day issues
- Manage the activities of all staff assigned to the German-speaking area and interns in the Groups Department, including regular meetings. This function also extends to staff rostering and handling annual leave requests and workloads during annual leave periods
- Support Customer Care team as required and as directed by the UK Director of Customer Care

Candidate Background

- Fluency in English & German an essential requirement (oral & written)
- Good knowledge of the UK-wide tourism industry products essential
- Excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail
- Excellent customer care and communication skills
- Team player able to work in a busy environment
