My Client is currently Looking for a Experienced Hotel Maintenance Manager, for a busy well
organised Star Hotel.




Job Title:Maintenance Manager

Nature of Job:To carry out planned preventative maintenance, routine maintenance and emergency maintenance on plant, equipment, buildings and environment, recording all tests and routines in logs provided. Monitor and ensure efficient use of energy and resources. To work within approved budget limits in specified departments to ensure adherence to the brand standards and levels of quality in order to satisfy guest expectations.

Responsible to:Deputy General Manager

Responsible for:Maintenance Assistant


Main Duties:

*Actions and manages the brand's PPM system.
*To undertake plumbing, painting, decorating, carpentry and minor electrical and
mechanical engineering work as necessary to maintain safe and efficient systems
within the hotel.
*To ensure that all work undertaken is done safely and in accordance with the
relevant approved codes of practice.
*To respond to the maintenance requests in order of priority and ensure that adequate
levels of spares are maintained and effectively used in order to give a high
standard of appearance throughout the buildings.
*To have a thorough understanding of the site and specifically all items of plant and
equipment.

* To be responsible for the control of contractors and their equipment when on site.
Ensuring the proper use of permits to work, safe systems of work and log in/out
procedures.
* Ensure compliance with company policies e.g. H&S / Food Hygiene, fire safety etc.
* To fully comply with the hotel and brand purchasing procedures using nominated
suppliers.

*Develop and follow up action plans and recommendations as highlighted during
RTMs/TOMs technical audits.

*Develop energy optimization action plan, implement controls.
*Any other duty as deemed suitable by the Hotel General Manager.

Skills / Experience Required

*A thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
*At least one years experience in a similar role.
*A basic knowledge of health & safety legislation.
*To be autonomous and self motivated.
*Very good communication skills to all levels of personnel.
