Job Title: Enhanced Onshore Service Technician

Location: Hadyard Hill Wind Farm/South Ayrshire

Salary: £27,947 - £36,912 depending on skills and experience + Standby payment + annual bonus

Permanent| Full Time Hours

The Role

As the technical expert within the Service Team you along with the team will be responsible for the timely, compliant and high quality delivery of maintenance on the wind generation portfolio.

You will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the windfarm and should be able to solve complex problems, troubleshooting Wind Turbine Generators, develop maintenance documentation and coach and mentor staff.

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will have completed a development programme such as an electrical or mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent. Previous experience in Renewable Generation, leading operations teams and taking control of plant is essential as is experience of servicing wind turbines, troubleshooting and modifying high technology plant.

Due to the importance of safety you will already be familiar with the application and use of safe systems of work, including working in accordance with Wind Turbine Safety Rules as an Authorised Technician preferably

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate strong leadership to the team.

Due to safety you will need to live or be willing to relocate within 60 minutes travel of our site
