Job Title: Finance Systems Accountant

Location: Perth / Reading

Salary: £31,500 to £47,900 depending on experience plus bonus

Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available | 37 hours per week

Our Role

This is a key role, reporting to the Finance Systems Manager, working within a specialist systems functional support team. This team provides advice and guidance to the wider Finance and Business community who use reporting applications including TM1, COGNOS Controller & PBCS. The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level or actively pursuing a CCAB qualification. This position will take lead responsibility in providing:

  • TM1 expertise and support for the Group's multiple TM1 applications covering administration (assisting in the reconciliation and integrity of the TM1 data).
  • Manage process improvement - Implement, test and document system enhancements.
  • Addressing support issues and resolving these for end users.
  • End users training on TM1.
  • Review and update TM1 policies and procedures and related documents on a regular basis.
  • Manage workload for the team from a TM1 perspective.
  • Support other finance applications maintained by the wider Finance Systems & Transformation team.
  • Provide systems support to projects on an ad hoc basis.
  • Your Skills and Experience

    To be successful in this role you should have an excellent working knowledge of the TM1 Developer & Administrator functions as well as having a good understanding of Financial Control and Governance frameworks related to Systems. You should have experience of analysing and mapping system processes and an ability to make a positive impact in a cross-functional environment. You should be proficient in the use of MS Office suite, particularly Excel and will have knowledge in SQL & VB coding procedures. As an individual, you will have excellent communication, both verbal and written, and presentation skills. An ability to understand system issues and communicate them in simple terms and an understanding of process analysis techniques and creating detailed process maps. An ability to work independently and with all levels of the Organisation is essential. Comfortable in building relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
